Jimmie Allen is currently working on his troubled marriage with his estranged wife, Alexis Gale.
According to EuroJournal, the 38-year-old country star’s divorce lawyers claimed they have ‘lost communication’ with their client. They made the revelation when filing a court motion to withdraw as his counsel last month.
The former legal team of the performer, who turned heads while carrying a knife during a children’s football game, also believes that the couple is currently ‘attempting to reconcile’ with his spouse.
Allen’s divorce lawyers have described the prospect of working with the client in the future to be ‘unfeasible.’
A judge is currently scheduled to make a decision regarding the motion next week.
The singer and Gale initially met in the spring of 2019 after being introduced by one of the former’s extended family members.
The pair became engaged in July of that year, and they started a family with the birth of their daughter Naomi Bettie, three, the following March.
Allen and his wife tied the knot during a wedding ceremony that took place in Pennsylvania in May of 2021, and they welcomed a second daughter named Zara James, two, that October.
The couple shocked many when they revealed that they had separated in a post that was shared on their Instagram account last April.
The performer and his spouse also announced that they were expecting to welcome a third child in their message, and they welcomed a son named Cohen Ace this past September.
A representative for the singer spoke to People last month and revealed that he was trying to patch things up with his wife.
The representative stated that Allen and Gale ‘decided to work on things together and are still together.’
They also added that the pair’s separation process ‘was never fully seen through legally.’
The performer is currently facing a lawsuit from his former manager, who has accused him of sexual assault, according to People.
The entertainment industry figure, who has remained anonymous, claimed that Allen had abused her on several occasions over the course of their professional relationship in a suit that was filed this past May.
The following month, the singer was sued by a second individual, who alleged that he sexually assaulted her and secretly filmed one of their encounters.
Allen has denied the allegations and filed a countersuit against both women in July.
