TDP Vote Bank Increased By 4.5%

After the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, public perception appears to be largely in favor of the belief that his arrest was politically motivated and driven by vendetta politics. According to a survey conducted by an agency, a significant majority, around 90% of the people, think that YS Jagan’s government arrested Chandrababu Naidu due to political vendetta.

The survey also indicated a noticeable increase in support for the TDP. The TDP’s vote bank reportedly increased by 4 to 4.5% after Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. Sympathy generated by his arrest seems to be working in favor of the TDP and has the potential to influence future elections.

Additionally, there has been a notable shift in the support of women voters. While the women’s vote bank for the YSRCP was reportedly solid before September 9th, after that date, there appears to have been an inclination of women voters towards the TDP.

Women have actively participated in protests in support of Chandrababu Naidu, and their turnout at various protest locations, such as Benz Circle in Vijayawada and Shankar Vilas in Guntur, has been significant.

It seems that the longer Chandrababu Naidu remains in jail, the more his arrest may boost the TDP’s political mileage, particularly among women voters who have shown a strong presence in protests and demonstrations in support of him.
