In Wyoming County, a winter weather advisory will be in effect from 10 tonight to 1 p.m. Sunday for Wyoming County.
Lake effect snow is expected, with total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches in the most persistent lake snows, mainly across the western portions of the county, the Weather Service said.
Winds gusting as high as 35 mph are expected, the Weather Service said.
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

Most of the snow is expected to fall this morning, and then again tonight with a break during this afternoon, according to the Weather Service.
